Dr. Slotwinski practices general optometry at the Wohl Eye Center.
She enjoys working with children and creating a comfortable environment for children to receive the best visual assessment. In addition, Dr. Slotwinski fits all types of contact lenses including specialty contacts such as Synergeyes and Paragon CRT.
Dr. Slotwinski graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in biology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry with clinical honors. Throughout her educational journey, Dr. Slotwinski gained experience with externships at the Veterans Affairs clinics in both Palo Alto, CA and Daytona Beach, FL, as well as pediatric training at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago.
Dr. Slotwinski is certified by the Illinois Board of Optometric Examiners. Her certification includes the use of diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents for the treatment in ocular disease and infections.
She maintains active membership with the American Academy of Optometry, Illinois Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association and its Contact Lens and Cornea Section.
