
Dr. Lisa G. Wohl, Board-Certified Ophthalmologist, has been in private practice since 1985, serving the western suburbs with the finest comprehensive eye care.
She is one of the most experienced surgeons in the Chicagoland area and has performed thousands of cataract and refractive procedures. Wohl is one of the first Eye MDs’ to offer a non-surgical vision correction alternative called Corneal Refractive Therapy by Paragon CRT.

Currently, she is the Vice President of the Medical Staff at GlenOaks Hospital, after serving as the Chairman of the Department of Surgery for four years. Dr. Wohl has been published several times in peer-reviewed ophthalmic journals and is actively involved in clinical research.
Dr. Wohl is a graduate of the prestigious Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. She had previously graduated with high honors from the University of Michigan. Additionally, she completed her internship and ophthalmology residency in Chicago at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she was chief resident in 1984. During Dr. Wohl’s fellowships in both cataract and glaucoma surgery, she lectured and taught cataract surgical techniques to other doctors.
Dr. Wohl is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, Illinois Association of Ophthalmology and Women in Ophthalmology.
